OUR PHILOSOPHY

Our goal is to provide our students with the tools necessary to reach their full potential, as technicians, artists, and members of an ensemble. We believe that dancers excel in a structured environment, in which hard work and dedication are valued, and success is earned. Whether learning to be on time for class, or how to execute a grand jeté, our students are taught invaluable lessons that will help them throughout their lives.

The ever-growing popularity of E’chappe Dance Arts (EDA) is a testament to Artistic Director Erin Lee’s commitment to progressive dance education. EDA has been a vital part of Philadelphia’s rich dance culture for nearly two decades, consistently presenting relevant and thought-provoking work. Now embarking upon its ninth year, the studio continues to train dancers of all ages and abilities in its micro studio in East Falls, Philadelphia.
